Engineer Rafael Lugo works on the team that plots and analyzes the
course for the Space Launch System, NASA’s “NextGen” rocket. The team
keeps an eye on the rocket’s progress throughout various parts of the
flight -- lift-off, orbit and splash-down. Ultimately, the goal is to
plot future missions to deep space destinations, including Mars.
