What Do Neutrino Oscillations Tell Us?
Δημοσιεύτηκε στις 21 Νοε 2014
During
The Elusive Neutrino and the Nature of the Cosmos, physicist Janet
Conrad used a pair of tuning forks to demonstrate the ability waves have
to cancel each other out. In her research, she has has found neutrinos
to be doing the same—moving in and out of her detectors' ability to find
them. This wave-like behavior reveals surprising properties about the
neutrino and insights into the nature of relativity.
