Physics - Radioactivity: The Discovery of Radioactivity
Ανέβηκε στις 16 Αυγ 2010
This is the 1st lesson in the
series, "Radioactivity." This lesson traces the historical journey
leading up to the discovery of radioactivity by Becquerel and the
isolation of radioactive isotopes by the Curies. It also considers why
some isotopes undergo decay and examine alpha, beta and gamma decay.
Examples of nuclear reactions are also given to show the relationship
between parent and daughter atoms.
