What is an X Ray
X
rays are the electromagnetic waves which are moving with the velocity
of light in all directions i.e. they are moving with a velocity of c = 3
x 10^8 ms^-1.
The x rays has the wavelength ranging from 1 x
10^-11 m to 3 x 10^-8 m but in general, the wavelength used in many
equipments and applications is of the range which is equal to 1 x 10^-10
m.
