Δημοσιεύτηκε στις 18 Αυγ 2016

Could
CERN have detected supersymmetry? Should we be interested in plasma
wakefield acceleration? Does the size of protons make them less suitable
for medical application than electrons? Suzie Sheehy answers questions
from the audience.

Suzie
Sheehy is an Accelerator Physicist at the University of Oxford. Her
research interests lie in the areas of particle physics, accelerator
physics and their applications including medical and energy
applications.

She is also heavily involved in science outreach
and often appears in the media to explain the work of particle
physicists and how accelerators work.

This event was supported by the Science and Technology Facilities Council.
