Testing General Relativity with Black Holes

Using
the Event Horizon Telescope, a research team including Avery Broderick
and Tim Johannsen of Perimeter Institute and the University of Waterloo
has demonstrated a new method for testing the theory of general
relativity using black holes. Their research was published in August
